The Tamil Nadu Dragons claimed a crucial bonus point by defeating SG Pipers in a thrilling Men’s Hockey India League match that ended in a 4-4 draw. Amit Rohidas, Tom Craig, Paul Philipp Kaufmann, and Selvaraj Kanagaraj scored for the Dragons, while Tomas Domene, Ky Willott, and Aditya Lalage netted for the Pipers.
SG Pipers started aggressively, controlling possession early on, but the Dragons fought back, with Rohidas scoring first. The Pipers equalized through Domene, setting the stage for a flurry of goals in the second quarter.
The Dragons regained the lead through Kaufmann, only for Domene to level the score again. Craig then put the Dragons ahead, leading to a 3-2 halftime lead.

The third quarter saw both teams trading goals, with Willott equalizing for the Pipers before Kanagaraj restored the Dragons’ lead. Despite a late surge from the Pipers, the Dragons held on to a 4-3 advantage going into the final quarter.
In a tense finish, Lalage scored for the Pipers, forcing a shootout. While the Pipers converted four of their attempts, the Dragons secured the bonus point by scoring all five of their shots.
