Guhan Senthilkumar and Sandhesh PR from Tamil Nadu progressed to the men’s doubles quarterfinals of the National Doubles Squash Championships with a strong performance at the Indian Squash Academy. They defeated Naman Surana and Pranav Agarwal in straight games, showcasing dominance throughout the match.
Shubham and Vedant Patel also impressed, securing a victory over Akashay Deepak and Parthiban in straight games with scores of 11-8, 10-12, and 11-2. Mathew Godwin and Navaneeth Prabhu joined the quarterfinals after a comfortable win against Vidik Karkashe and Yash Sonwani with scores of 11-4, 11-6.
Ravi Dixit and Vikas Mehra advanced to the next round by defeating Ajinkya Shinde and Omkar Avhad with scores of 11-3, 11-4. In the women’s doubles Group B round-robin, Janet Vidhi and Pooja Arthi progressed as Kriya Saravanan and Nandikasree retired from the match.
A thrilling comeback marked the mixed doubles round of 16 as Ravi Dixit and Janet Vidhi overcame Dinesh R and Ananya Narayan after losing the first game, finishing with scores of 4-11, 11-5, and 11-8.
