Authorities have directed non-voters to leave their constituencies after the campaign deadline, and permits for candidate vehicles will be revoked. The Commission has also warned against transporting voters using hired vehicles on polling day. Liquor sales in Tamil Nadu will be suspended for three days, starting Tuesday evening, prompting last-minute rushes at retail outlets.
