The Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) marked its third anniversary with a vibrant celebration at its Panaiyur office, led by party President Vijay. The event commemorated the party’s establishment on February 2, 2024, signifying Vijay’s entry into politics and the party’s inception. Since its launch, the TVK has actively engaged in mobilization efforts and held significant conventions to establish itself as a formidable political entity in Tamil Nadu.
The TVK garnered substantial public support during its initial major convention in Vikravandi, Villupuram district, followed by another successful gathering in Madurai, expanding its grassroots presence. Vijay kickstarted the party’s election campaign from Tiruchirappalli, demonstrating readiness for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Despite a temporary setback due to the Karur stampede incident, the TVK has resumed its political activities, with the Panaiyur celebration symbolizing a fresh start.
During the anniversary event, Vijay received a warm welcome from TVK General Secretary N. Anand, senior leader Aadhav Arjuna, and other party officials at the Panaiyur office. He honored the party’s ideological leaders by laying floral tributes at their statues and raised the party flag, emphasizing his dedication to the party’s principles and organizational structure. The festivities included a folk music performance by Velmurugan, with Vijay’s spontaneous dance drawing enthusiastic cheers, reflecting a renewed sense of confidence among party members.
The Panaiyur celebration not only marked the TVK’s third anniversary but also signaled a return to campaign mode for the party and its leader, showcasing renewed vigor and preparedness for the upcoming political challenges.
