Actress Tanishaa Mukerji marked Makar Sankranti by visiting the holy shrine of Grishneshwar’s Jyotirling and performing a ‘Rudra Abhishek.’ Sharing pictures from her visit, she emphasized the Jyotirlinga’s significance. The Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is the 12th of the sacred 12 Jyotirlingas, symbolizing devotion’s triumph over tragedy.
In a post, Tanishaa was seen near the temple in a pink saree and performing the Rudra Abhishek. Earlier, she explored ancient knowledge at the Karla Caves, sharing her experience on social media. The Karla Caves, near Lonavala, date back to the 2nd century BCE and once served as a monastery and rest stop for monks and merchants.
