Despite losing the first two games, Tanvi fought back fiercely, eventually triumphing 8-11, 2-11, 12-10, 11-9, 11-7 in a thrilling encounter that lasted 45 minutes.
In the men’s final, M. Syafiq Kamal emerged victorious by defeating Yassin Shohdy from Egypt in a closely contested match that ended 3-2 (6-11, 9-11, 11-8, 14-12, 11-8). Tanvi’s victory marked a significant turnaround from her earlier defeat to Farida in January this year, showcasing her resilience and determination on the court.
Despite a slow start and trailing in the third game, Tanvi displayed remarkable composure and skill to stage a comeback, leveling the scores at 8-8 and eventually clinching the game 12-10. With unwavering focus and support from the home crowd, Tanvi maintained her momentum in the subsequent games, securing a well-deserved win in the end.
