The women laborers from the Manohari tea estate welcomed the BJP’s victory in the state Assembly polls, expressing optimism that the new government will address their needs and enhance their quality of life. Monika Mura, echoing the sentiment, highlighted the demands of the tea garden community, including the need for Scheduled Tribe (ST) status, land ownership rights, and higher wages.
