Team India has solidified their position as the top team in the latest ICC Men’s T20I Team Rankings. Led by Suryakumar Yadav, India holds the top spot with 275 rating points, maintaining a significant lead over second-placed England at 262 points and Australia at 258 points. The rankings, based on matches played since May 2025, showcase India’s consistent excellence in T20I cricket, including consecutive T20 World Cup victories in 2024 and 2026.
The top seven rankings remain unchanged, indicating the stability among the leading teams. New Zealand holds fourth place with 247 points, followed by South Africa in fifth with 244 points. Pakistan and the West Indies secure the sixth and seventh positions, respectively. Bangladesh has climbed to eighth place after gaining a rating point, while Sri Lanka has dropped to ninth, with Afghanistan closely trailing in 10th place.
In a notable shift, the United States has risen to 13th place, surpassing the Netherlands and Scotland. Namibia remains at 16th place, while Nepal and Oman have each moved up a spot to 17th and 19th, respectively. Italy has made significant progress, advancing three places to 23rd with an increase of 11 rating points. On the other hand, Mozambique has experienced a significant decline, dropping 15 positions in the rankings.
