Team India Wins Inaugural ADCA T20i Asia Cup 2026

The ADCA T20i Asia Cup 2026 concluded at Cuttack’s Barabati Stadium, with Team India emerging victorious by defeating the Sri Lanka Deaf team by six wickets in the final match. India’s journey included a win against Sri Lanka and Nepal, securing their spot in the final against Sri Lanka.

Sai Akaash of India was named Player of the Match for his stellar performance, contributing 27 runs off 14 balls and taking two crucial wickets. Sri Lanka’s Gimadu L Malkam stood out, winning the best batter award for scoring 196 runs, while Gihan Lasidu D’ Silva claimed the best bowler title with 10 wickets.

Gimadu L Malkam, excelling throughout, was also honored as the player of the series for his remarkable all-round performance. Sumit Jain, ADCA president, expressed pride in hosting the event and commended the participants and dignitaries for their presence and support. Roma Balwani, Director of ADCA & CEO of IDCA, lauded the success of the tournament and congratulated Team India on their victory.
