Teams from Multiple States Triumph at Hockey India Sub-junior Women’s National Championship

Teams from Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, Chandigarh, and Karnataka emerged victorious in Division ‘B’, while those from Mizoram, Haryana, Odisha, and Jharkhand secured wins in Division ‘A’ on the sixth day of the 16th Hockey India Sub-junior Women’s National Championship 2026 in Ranchi, Jharkhand.

Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Hockey clinched a 1-0 victory against Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu in their Pool A, Division ‘B’ match, with Anushka Gupta scoring the winning goal in the third quarter.

Hockey Chandigarh outplayed Hockey Himachal 4-1 in their Pool B Division ‘B’ clash, with Annu netting a hat-trick and Rani Radha adding another goal for Hockey Chandigarh, while Khushvinder Gill scored for Hockey Himachal.

Hockey Karnataka dominated with a 6-1 win over Hockey Gujarat in a Pool B, Division ‘B’ match, with multiple players contributing to the goal tally for Hockey Karnataka.

Hockey Mizoram secured a 2-1 victory over Chhattisgarh Hockey in Pool D, Division ‘A’, with K. Vanlalpeki scoring a brace for the winning team.

Hockey Haryana defeated Manipur Hockey 4-2 in their Pool C, Division ‘A’ encounter, with goals from Radhika, Diya, Vishakha, and Antika for Hockey Haryana.

Hockey Association of Odisha claimed a 4-0 victory over Hockey Andhra Pradesh in Pool B of Division ‘A’, with multiple players finding the net for the winning team.

In the final match of the day in Pool A, Division ‘A’, Hockey Jharkhand secured a convincing 6-0 win over Hockey Maharashtra, with several players contributing to the goal-scoring spree.
