Tej Pratap Yadav, the leader of Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD), conducted a significant organizational meeting with party workers in Patna. He revealed his strategy for enlarging the party, including a statewide padyatra throughout Bihar. This padyatra will involve visiting all 38 districts of Bihar, where Tej Pratap will engage with people directly and address their concerns.
During the meeting, Tej Pratap criticized Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLC Sunil Singh for disrespecting party members, attributing such behavior to the RJD’s diminishing electoral success. He accused individuals like Sunil Singh of weakening the RJD, claiming that the party’s strength has dwindled to 25 seats due to such actions.
Tej Pratap also alleged that certain individuals within the RJD have undermined the political influence of his father, Lalu Prasad Yadav. He emphasized that the Janshakti Janata Dal embodies the authentic political legacy of Lalu Prasad Yadav, not the RJD, representing the core principles and values advocated by his father.
The JJD leader announced plans for a national executive meeting and an open convention on April 16, coinciding with his leader’s birthday. This event is deemed crucial for determining the party’s future political direction. Additionally, Tej Pratap declared that the Janshakti Janata Dal will participate in the upcoming MLC elections, fielding candidates in all constituencies to expand its political presence in Bihar.
