Amid increasing crime against women in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, RJD National Working President, criticized the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government for its governance and credibility. Yadav expressed strong concern over a recent incident in Gopalganj where a one-and-a-half-year-old girl was reportedly sexually assaulted. He highlighted the alarming frequency of crimes in the state and called for immediate action to ensure the safety of women and girls.

The RJD leader accused the government of neglecting critical issues like law and order, education, healthcare, and public safety. He urged the authorities to prioritize these matters over targeting the opposition. Yadav emphasized the need for the government to address the growing insecurity faced by women and children in Bihar.

In response to the incident in Gopalganj, where a young girl was assaulted, the police swiftly apprehended the accused, Mohammad Sarik, from Uttar Pradesh. The situation escalated, requiring police intervention to prevent potential violence. The authorities assured that the case is being handled seriously, with efforts to gather evidence and ensure swift justice for the victim.

The tragic incident has reignited concerns over the safety of women in Bihar, with recent criminal events sparking public outrage and political tensions. The community is closely following developments, especially regarding the ongoing investigation into the NEET aspirant’s death in Patna. The situation has put a spotlight on governance and law enforcement in the state, prompting calls for accountability and improved safety measures.
