Telangana BJP leader Madhavi Latha showcased her sporting skills by winning a gold medal at the 12th Telangana State Shooting Championship. Excelling in the 25m Pistol event in Hyderabad, she achieved a remarkable score of 245/300. Latha attributed her interest in shooting to her early days as an NCC cadet during Republic Day training sessions.
Despite facing a ligament tear in her right shoulder, Latha is intensifying her training for future competitions. She is currently gearing up for the pre-national championships scheduled in two months. Latha emphasized the importance of determination in overcoming obstacles and expressed gratitude for the support she received during her journey.
The gold medal victory was not just Latha’s success but a collective achievement of everyone who supported and believed in her. In a social media post, she encouraged women to pursue their dreams without limitations and to believe in their abilities. Latha also highlighted the significance of institutions like Upras Vyayam Shala in nurturing discipline, strength, and patriotism among the youth.
