Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed his ambition to position the state as a global gateway, outlined in the ‘Telangana Rising – 2047’ plan during the Telangana Formation Day celebrations. The goal is to elevate Telangana into a one-trillion US dollar economy by 2034 and a three-trillion-dollar economy by 2047. Reddy highlighted the unique three-tiered strategy of classifying the state into CURE, PURE, and RARE zones for comprehensive development.
The ‘Telangana Rising – 2047’ Vision Document segregates the state into distinct zones with specific development objectives. The government aims to create a pollution-free “CURE” zone within the Outer Ring Road, promoting eco-friendly practices and services. Additionally, plans include the establishment of a Regional Ring Road and the transformation of the PURE zone into a manufacturing and infrastructure hub, featuring the ‘Bharat Future City’ project.
Emphasizing the importance of agriculture and agro-based industries, the Chief Minister outlined the RARE zone’s significance in Telangana’s development. The government’s focus on welfare schemes and development initiatives aims to uplift various sections of society, with a strong emphasis on eradicating poverty and empowering farmers. Reddy highlighted the state’s achievements in food grain production and the growth of sectors like livestock and fisheries.
