Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy highlighted the state government’s focus on education reforms, aiming to provide quality education to eliminate the need for welfare schemes. Initiatives include introducing a new education system from nursery to 12th grade in the upcoming academic year. Public schools in Telangana will offer quality meals, breakfast, and transportation services to students.
Revanth Reddy also mentioned the establishment of a Skills University to enhance students’ skills and the compilation of health data for 60 lakh women who will receive digital health cards soon. The government plans to provide life insurance to 1.30 crore families and has allocated funds for medical care through Aarogyasri and CMRF schemes.
The Chief Minister expressed concerns about rising healthcare costs and accessibility issues, emphasizing the importance of service-oriented medical care. He urged doctors from private hospitals to contribute at least one month of service annually in government hospitals to address the shortage of medical professionals. Additionally, he highlighted Hyderabad’s significant role in pharmaceuticals, including the production of three coronavirus vaccines.
