Telangana Chief Minister, A. Revanth Reddy, initiated the development works of the Sri Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Temple at Kaleshwaram in Jayashankar Bhupalapally district, costing ₹198 crore. Additionally, he laid the foundation stone for the Kaleshwaram Bus Station. Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, and others were in attendance.
Last year in May, Chief Minister Reddy had pledged ₹200 crore for the temple’s development, aiming to boost tourism. He assured a swift fund release through the green channel. Recently, he visited the temple, performed rituals, and oversaw the commencement of the development projects.
Accompanied by key officials, Chief Minister Reddy inspected various surveys and sample collection activities at the Medigadda barrage. The government’s plan involves thorough testing and analysis of samples to assess the barrage’s condition accurately. Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy emphasized the government’s commitment to scientifically repairing and restoring the barrages under the Kaleshwaram project.
