Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed doubts about the future of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on its 26th anniversary. He likened the party to a dead body, stating that no amount of effort could revive it. Reddy also commented on a new party launched by KCR’s daughter, questioning the need for another political entity.
Reddy suggested that Telangana would see two main political alliances, with Congress, Communists, and Kodandaram forming one, and BRS aligning with BJP in the other. He emphasized unity within KCR’s family, albeit hinting at deceptive behavior. The Chief Minister clarified that his government faces no opposition and denied any ill wishes towards KCR.
Addressing recent developments, Reddy mentioned the Telangana High Court’s stance on the PC Ghose Commission report regarding the Kaleshwaram project. He noted that the court did not find fault with the report but recommended refraining from immediate action until a CBI probe is conducted.
