Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced the promotion of night tourism along the Musi river in Hyderabad to boost economic activity. The Chief Minister highlighted plans for the Radial Road–2 interchange to enhance road connectivity in the region during the inauguration of Eco Hill Park at Kothwalguda.
The Chief Minister defended the Musi Riverfront project against criticism from opposition parties, assuring support for those affected by development projects. He emphasized the government’s commitment to providing comprehensive rehabilitation and facilities for displaced families. Revanth Reddy expressed the goal of transforming Hyderabad into a world-class city by adopting international urban development models and attracting global investments.
Revanth Reddy cited the success of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and announced plans for Shamshabad to become a Bullet train hub with high-speed rail connectivity to major cities. He highlighted Hyderabad’s potential to compete globally and attract investments from leading international companies. The Chief Minister underscored the city’s beauty and historical significance, emphasizing the need for vision and commitment to enhance its global stature.
Referring to Hyderabad’s rich heritage, Revanth Reddy praised historic landmarks like Osmania Hospital and Golconda Fort while expressing concerns over encroachments and garbage accumulation. He acknowledged past contributions to the city’s infrastructure, including flood-control measures on the Musi river during the Nizam’s rule. The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s determination to restore Hyderabad’s beauty and elevate its status on the global stage.
