Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has called on voters to reject hate politics in the upcoming municipal elections on February 11. He criticized the BJP for engaging in divisive politics and accused them of fueling communal animosity. Reddy specifically targeted the BJP for using leaders like AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi as a political tool to garner votes.
The Chief Minister highlighted the BJP’s fixation on Asaduddin Owaisi, questioning why the party, despite being in power at the Centre, couldn’t control him if they viewed him as malevolent. He also criticized the BJP for seeking votes by demonizing political opponents like AIMIM. Reddy labeled this behavior as a sign of the BJP’s lack of political vision.
Revanth Reddy further criticized the BJP for its failure to deliver on promises made to Telangana, citing instances where Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not fulfill commitments. He accused the BJP of neglecting southern states like Telangana and highlighted disparities in the allocation of funds. Reddy also questioned the silence of Central ministers from Telangana on issues affecting the state.
