Telangana Jagruthi leader K. Kavitha strongly criticized Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s statement suggesting her father, former CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao, be hanged over river water issues. Kavitha expressed outrage, stating that Revanth Reddy should be hanged twice for his remarks.

Speaking at the Telangana Legislative Council, Kavitha demanded that KCR address the river water matter in the Assembly to silence his critics. She emphasized the importance of KCR’s involvement in resolving the issue for the benefit of the state.

Kavitha, who had resigned from the Legislative Council following her suspension from BRS, highlighted the need for KCR’s direct intervention in the river water dispute. She also criticized her cousin, T. Harish Rao, for his role in the party.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s comments on the potential hanging of KCR and Harish Rao for alleged injustices during the BRS regime have sparked controversy. The remarks were made during a presentation on river water issues to Congress leaders.
