Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and state ministers honored the late Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary. They praised his role in advancing India into the modern era with technological and telecom revolutions. Vikramarka, currently in New Delhi, laid wreaths at Rajiv Gandhi’s memorial and highlighted his contributions to the nation’s progress.
Vikramarka emphasized Rajiv Gandhi’s leadership in modernizing India and empowering youth through initiatives like lowering the voting age. He expressed a commitment, along with the Congress Party, to continue serving the public in line with Gandhi’s vision. State Minister Vakiti Srihari also lauded Rajiv Gandhi as a pioneer of India’s information revolution and a leader who transformed the IT sector.
Srihari commended Rajiv Gandhi’s efforts in shaping modern India and creating opportunities for the youth. He credited Gandhi for reforms such as the computer revolution and strengthening the telecommunications sector. Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy echoed similar sentiments, recognizing Gandhi’s pivotal role in India’s technological progress and emphasizing the need to uphold his ideals for national development.
