Central ministers from Telangana have strongly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for an incident where Youth Congress members staged a shirtless protest at the India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi. Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy accused Rahul Gandhi of engaging in “cheap politics, despicable actions, and shameful behavior” that have negatively impacted India’s youth and entrepreneurs. The protest was reportedly aimed at Prime Minister Modi and the proposed India-US trade deal, which the Congress alleges has compromised India’s sovereignty.
Kishan Reddy took to social media to express his disapproval, stating that Congress workers, under Rahul Gandhi’s instructions, disrupted the AI summit by engaging in disruptive behavior. He condemned their actions, likening them to “goondas and thugs,” and emphasized that such behavior undermines the achievements and entrepreneurial spirit of India’s youth. Kishan Reddy highlighted that instead of fostering a positive environment, Rahul Gandhi’s actions are spreading negativity and discouraging the youth.
In a similar vein, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, criticized the Congress for what he described as a “shameless double game” at the AI Summit. He pointed out the contrasting behaviors within the same venue, where Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of the Congress was seen praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for bringing together leading global minds. Bandi Sanjay emphasized the need for unity and respect for the nation on international platforms, condemning the alleged political theatrics and chaos created by the Congress.
