Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) leader K. Kavitha accused Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) of receiving Rs 1,400 crore through questionable deals. She urged BRS to allocate this money to families of Telangana martyrs. Speaking at Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), she criticized her brother K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) and cousin T. Harish Rao for alleged corruption.
Kavitha, daughter of former CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao, vowed not to rejoin BRS and claimed the funds in its accounts were from Andhra contractors. She insisted that the party should provide Rs 1 crore to each martyr’s family, labeling the money as corrupt. Alleging corruption by KTR with a construction firm, she criticized Harish Rao’s involvement in the Kaleshwaram project, calling him ‘Anaconda’.
The TRS leader demanded a review of land allocations to Andhra contractors by both BRS and state governments if her party assumes power. She accused BRS of conspiring against her party and questioned their Election Commission complaints. Kavitha also pressed for timely medical board meetings for Singareni Collieries Company Limited jobs, threatening a hunger strike if not addressed promptly.
