A mass marriage ceremony of the Thakor community in Gujarat highlighted the importance of treating daughters-in-law with respect and affection, akin to daughters. Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, at the event in Kalol, urged families to foster social harmony by embracing this change. Sanghavi underscored the community’s strong ties with the government and stressed the significance of youth development and leadership.
The Deputy Chief Minister commended the state’s development progress, attributing it to the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Sanghavi praised the rapid advancement under Patel’s governance, crediting societal cooperation for the success. He also mentioned government welfare initiatives like Ayushman Bharat and urged community leaders to ensure that all families benefit from such programs.
Sanghavi lauded the efforts to construct an educational facility for the community, acknowledging the contributions of local MLAs Alpesh Thakor and Laxmanji Thakor. He encouraged attendees to pledge towards eradicating social vices and fostering a healthier society. Meanwhile, CM Bhupendra Patel inaugurated Tapovan Vidyavihar in Ahmedabad, focusing on modern education with moral values.
At the educational complex inauguration, CM Patel recognized key donors and toured the premises with dignitaries, including Deputy CM Harsh Sanghavi and Jain spiritual leaders. Sanghavi praised Tapovan Vidyavihar for its blend of advanced educational resources and values, aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision of holistic development.
