Sharing a photo on Instagram, the duo posed with Mohanlal, calling him their “new friend.” Known for hits like “#Selfie,” The Chainsmokers have garnered success with songs such as “Don’t Let Me Down” and “Closer.”
Mohanlal, a prominent figure in Malayalam cinema, recently announced the release of “Drishyam 2” in theaters, with “Drishyam 3” set to follow. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the crime thriller also features Meena, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil. Mohanlal, with a career spanning over four decades, has received accolades like the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awards.
With a successful acting career, Mohanlal was last seen in “Vrusshabha,” a fantasy action film. The movie portrays the journey of Adidev, a businessman entangled in ancient destiny and family conflicts. Notably, Mohanlal holds the honorary rank of lieutenant colonel in the Territorial Army, a first for an Indian actor.
