The police in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, have detained three individuals for allegedly assaulting BJP MLA Jaideep Bihani during a meeting at Bihani College. MLA Bihani reported that the dispute escalated when he questioned the officials’ commitment to public welfare, resulting in alleged physical assault by the Assistant Engineer, Jagannath Bairwa. The police intervened, taking the three officials into custody, with an FIR being filed against them by the MLA.
