The Vaishali Police in Bihar conducted raids at two hotels in the district and rescued three women. The Abhishek Vaishali Hotel and The Royal Cafe & Restaurant were allegedly involved in flesh trade for financial gain. A special team led by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer and other officials carried out the operation based on directions from the Superintendent of Police.
Three women were rescued during the raid, and the police arrested three suspects while apprehending a juvenile. Items seized from the premises included mobile phones, cash, receipts, a register, and a wristwatch. Legal action is underway with a case registered at the Vaishali police station.
The arrested individuals, Neeraj Kumar, Mukesh Sahani, and Mahesh Mahto, are from Vaishali and Saran districts. In a separate operation, Rohtas police conducted a raid in the red-light area of Bikramganj, causing panic in the locality. The police detained six individuals, including four women associated with an orchestra, for questioning after receiving information about dancing and singing activities in Dhangai village.
Officials confirmed that the detained women are adults engaged in orchestra performances at social events like weddings. Identity verification processes are ongoing, with Bikramganj SDPO emphasizing that the operation was part of routine police activities.
