Tickets for the upcoming men’s Hockey India League (HIL) 2025-26 in Chennai, starting on January 3, are now live. Hockey India has opted to offer the tickets for free to encourage more fans to attend the matches. The Women’s HIL will kick off on December 28 in Ranchi and conclude on January 10. On the other hand, the Men’s HIL will commence in Chennai on January 3, then move to Ranchi from January 11, and finally, the last leg will take place in Bhubaneswar from January 17 to January 26.

This season’s Hockey India League will feature eight men’s and four women’s teams, with both leagues promising fast-paced and thrilling games due to their revamped formats. Ticket sales for the HIL’s Ranchi leg have already started. Hockey India’s goal, as in previous editions, is to expand the sport’s reach to every part of the country and make it more accessible to its dedicated fans.

The Chairperson of the Hockey India League (HIL) governing committee, Dilip Tirkey, mentioned, “We have once again decided to offer free tickets for hockey fans to come and enjoy all the matches across Chennai, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar. We want to fill the hockey stands with fans who wish to see their favorite stars in action.” He emphasized the presence of top players this season and the anticipation of witnessing exceptional hockey throughout the month.

Bhola Nath Singh, a member of the HIL governing committee, also expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Hero HIL will be a month-long celebration of hockey, and we invite the hockey fans to come watch #hockeykajashn. It was our aim to increase the fanbase for our sport across regions, and we look forward to packed stadiums throughout the season.”
