Tiffany Trump, daughter of US President Donald Trump, is set to visit Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer on Sunday with her husband Michael Boulos. Their private visit has led to increased security measures in the city due to its proximity to the India-Pakistan border. The couple will be staying at the luxurious Suryagarh Hotel during their trip.
Tiffany Trump’s itinerary includes exploring Jaisalmer’s famous heritage sites such as Sonar Fort (Jaisalmer Fort), Patwon Ki Haveli, and Gadisar Lake. The visit is expected to be brief, with their departure scheduled for Monday. Prior to Jaisalmer, the couple had visited New Delhi, Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, and the Taj Mahal in Agra.
Security has been heightened in Jaisalmer, with authorities closely monitoring tourist locations and coordinating with intelligence agencies. The visit has sparked enthusiasm among local tourism stakeholders, who see it as an opportunity to enhance Jaisalmer’s global appeal and attract more international visitors.
This visit is not the first time a member of the Trump family has visited Jaisalmer. In 2018, Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump’s husband and then Senior Advisor to the White House, attended a high-profile wedding at Suryagarh Hotel, necessitating extensive security arrangements involving Rajasthan Police and US security personnel.
