Kolkata’s Tirthapati Institution excelled in the junior boys’ section at the 51st All India Invitation Inter School Rowing Championship in Kolkata. They secured spots in the finals of the double scull and fours events. In the double scull final, both their “A” and “B” teams advanced, while in the fours event, Tirthapati “B” will face Patha Bhavan “A” in the title clash.
Modern High School “A” and National High School showcased their strength in the girls’ division, progressing to the final of the senior girls fours. Meanwhile, in the senior girls’ double scull, St Paul’s and Ashok Hall emerged victorious in the semifinals.
Tirthapati Institution’s junior boys also impressed, with their “A” and “B” teams reaching the semifinals of the junior boys double scull event. Other teams advancing to the semifinals in various disciplines include Modern High School, Ashoke Hall, Beltola Girls’ School, Ballygunge Siksha Sadan, and Khalsa High School.
