With the Kerala Assembly poll results imminent, Today’s Chanakya’s latest projection has stirred up the electoral scenario. While most surveys favor the United Democratic Front (UDF) for a comfortable win, Today’s Chanakya suggests the possibility of a hung House, projecting UDF to secure around 69 seats, just shy of a majority.
In contrast to other pollsters forecasting UDF’s victory, Today’s Chanakya’s estimate places the Left Democratic Front (LDF) in a close contest with UDF. The margin between the two fronts appears to be very narrow, with LDF projected to secure around 64 seats.
Today’s Chanakya’s projections also indicate a potential rise in seats for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the Bharatiya Janata Party, which could play a significant role in case of a fractured verdict.
The varying projections have become a major topic of discussion in the final phase of the election campaign. While most polls predict a comfortable win for UDF, the lower-end estimate by Today’s Chanakya has raised concerns of overconfidence and possible last-minute shifts in voter preferences.
