Hollywood actor Tom Holland faced a challenge due to his Spider-Man emblem tattoo while filming ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’. The tattoo on his foot led to an unexpected problem during a scene where he hung upside down off a building, requiring the VFX team to digitally erase it.
During a fan event in Amsterdam, Tom shared that the tattoo, representing the Spider-Man emblem from the first movie, was located on the sole of his foot. He described the awkwardness of filming a scene without clothes while hanging off a building, where the tattoo was visible. The VFX team had to edit it out for continuity.
In ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, the world is unaware of Spider-Man’s existence post ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. Tom stars in the movie alongside Zendaya, his wife in the film, making certain scenes easier to film due to their real-life relationship.
Zendaya and Tom’s growth as actors was evident during a crucial scene in the film, where Zendaya candidly expressed her doubts. Their evolved relationship since ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ in 2017 has enhanced their on-screen chemistry and communication.
