Top Indian golfers including Yuvraj Sandhu, Veer Ahlawat, Om Prakash Chouhan, Manu Gandas, Shaurya Bhattacharya, and Honey Baisoya are set to participate in the PGTI Open at the Classic Golf & Country Club near Gurugram, Haryana, from March 19 to 22, 2026. The tournament, co-sanctioned by HotelPlanner Tour and DP World Professional Golf Tour of India (DP World PGTI), offers a prize purse of US$300,000 and will feature 150 players.
The event will follow a stroke-play format comprising four rounds of 18 holes each, with the top 60 players and ties making the cut after two rounds. Notable names from the HotelPlanner Tour such as Will Enefer, MJ Daffue, Pablo Ereno, Maxence Giboudot, and Tapio Pulkkanen will also be part of the competitive field.
Jamie Hodges, HotelPlanner Tour Director, expressed excitement about the upcoming tournament, highlighting the quality of golf expected from the participants. Kapil Dev, President of PGTI, emphasized the significance of the DP World PGTI Open in elevating Indian professional golf standards and providing international exposure to local talent, aiming to enhance the sport’s development in the country.
