The upcoming Malayalam action film ‘Pallichattambi’, directed by Dijo Jose Antony and starring Tovino Thomas, is set to hit theaters worldwide on April 9. The film’s official Instagram handle shared a motion poster announcing the release date. ‘Pallichattambi’, a big-budget production, aims to showcase Tovino Thomas in a new avatar and is set in the 1950s–60s era.
Produced by World Wide Films and C Qube Bros Entertainments, the movie will be released in five languages, including Malayalam. Alongside Tovino Thomas, the film features Kayadu Lohar, known for her role in the Tamil blockbuster ‘Dragon’, as the female lead. The ensemble cast also includes Vijayaraghavan, Sudheer Karamana, Baburaj, Vinod Kedamangalam, and others.
The film’s script is penned by S Suresh Babu, with cinematography by Tijo Tomy and music by Jakes Bejoy. Editing is handled by Sreejith Sarang, and production design is by Dileep Nath. ‘Pallichattambi’ also sees Meghasyam and Thanzeer as associate producers, with costumes by Manjusha Radhakrishnan and art direction by Rajesh Menon.
