A tragic road accident in Begusarai early Friday morning has left the Bihar Police Department in mourning. The incident resulted in the deaths of four individuals, including three Station House Officers (SHOs) from Madhepura district. Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary expressed deep sorrow over the loss, calling it an irreparable tragedy for the police fraternity.
The fatal crash occurred when the officers’ vehicle collided with a stationary truck, instantly claiming the lives of all occupants. The deceased included three SHOs and the driver of the vehicle. The impact of the collision was so severe that the vehicle was left completely mangled.
The SHOs who lost their lives have been identified as Sajan Kumar, Amarendra Gyanendra, and Neeraj Kumar, along with the driver. Local authorities swiftly responded to the scene, recovering the bodies for post-mortem examination. Begusarai Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar confirmed the deaths and assured that a thorough investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the accident.
