Six individuals, including two minor girls, tragically lost their lives in a road accident in Odisha’s Ganjam district. The incident occurred when an auto-rickshaw carrying 10 family members collided head-on with a bus in the Purusottampur area. Fire services and locals rescued the injured and took them to a nearby health center, where six victims were declared dead.
Among the deceased were two minor girls, and four seriously injured individuals were referred to a medical college for treatment. The community mourned the loss, and authorities have launched an investigation into the accident. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep sorrow over the incident and announced financial aid for the families of the deceased.
