A tragic road accident in Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh resulted in the loss of three lives and severe injuries to seven individuals. The incident occurred when a pick-up truck carrying daily wage laborers overturned along the National Highway in the Barman police station area. The victims, hailing from Surla Khapa village in Chhindwara district, were en route to their workplace for road construction activities in Narsinghpur.
Sandeep Bhuria, Additional Superintendent of Police in Narsinghpur, confirmed that two individuals died on the spot due to the vehicle overturning, while a third victim passed away during medical treatment. The injured are currently receiving intensive care at nearby medical facilities, with their conditions closely monitored by medical staff. The cause of the accident, possibly linked to factors like over-speeding or overloading, is still under investigation.
