The much-anticipated period film ‘Parasakthi’, directed by Sudha Kongara and starring Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa, and Sreeleela, has unveiled its gripping trailer. Originally set for January 14, the film’s release date has been moved up to January 10 to coincide with the Pongal festival. Actor Sivakarthikeyan shared the trailer link on social media, expressing excitement for the film’s release.
The trailer showcases intense scenes, including Sivakarthikeyan and Ravi Mohan engaged in a fight atop a moving train set in 1964. Sivakarthikeyan’s character, an engine driver with the railways, is depicted struggling with Hindi, leading to humorous interactions. Atharvaa plays his younger brother, while Sreeleela portrays a news reader facing workplace challenges.
As the story unfolds, tensions rise with the proposed law to make Hindi the official language nationwide. The narrative delves into family dynamics, with Atharvaa’s character opposing Sivakarthikeyan’s compliance with the government’s Hindi imposition. Sivakarthikeyan’s character evolves from resistance to leadership amid growing protests against the language mandate.
The film has generated high anticipation among fans and cinephiles, with Sivakarthikeyan commencing dubbing in November.
