Kuldeep Choudhary and his 18-year-old son Mohnish, accused of the murder of software engineer Shampa Panday, were placed in police custody for two days in Indore. The police requested custody to advance the investigation and plan to take them to the crime scene for identification in front of society residents. A team from the Lasudia police station conducted an inquiry at the society and questioned witnesses present during the incident.
Residents were asked to provide detailed information about Kuldeep Choudhary and his son, including their conduct and various properties they own, such as a penthouse. Gaurav Naik, the head of the Resident Welfare Association of Shiv Vatika Township, confirmed that the police team sought information about Kuldeep’s flats in the society. Additionally, a forensic team visited the location and collected samples for analysis. Shampa Panday’s body was cremated after her family members from Jabalpur and Ayodhya district arrived.
Shampa Panday, a resident of Jabalpur district, was married to Saurabh Pandey, with two minor sons. The family had recently moved into their flat in the building. Following an argument between Kuldeep Chaudhary and residents, including Saurabh Pandey, a physical altercation ensued, leading to a tragic incident where Shampa was hit by a car driven by Mohit, resulting in her demise. The father and son were arrested, and a murder case has been filed against them.
