Trinamool Congress MP Kirti Azad expressed his belief that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is destined to become the next Prime Minister. Azad criticized the BJP, alleging that the Election Commission of India is aligned with the BJP in the electoral process. He highlighted the BJP’s tactics and expressed confidence that they cannot win in West Bengal.

Azad dismissed claims of the BJP’s success in West Bengal and praised Mamata Banerjee’s leadership qualities. He emphasized that Banerjee’s performance surpasses that of any other chief minister in the country. Trinamool Congress recently released its list of candidates for the upcoming two-phase elections in West Bengal, setting the stage for a significant electoral battle in the Bhabanipur constituency.

The electoral scenario in West Bengal intensifies as Mamata Banerjee prepares to contest from Bhabanipur against BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari. This contest marks the second time Banerjee will face Adhikari, who defeated her in Nandigram in 2021. The Election Commission of India is implementing enhanced monitoring measures for the upcoming Assembly polls in West Bengal to ensure transparency in the electoral process.
