Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha accused the opposition CPI-M of aiming to create internal conflict within the BJP to oust the party and reinstate a Left Front government. Saha emphasized the state government’s commitment to public welfare and transparent governance, highlighting Tripura’s progress in various areas, winning 347 national awards.

At a BJP event in North Tripura district, Saha praised the late Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen, pledging to fulfill his unfinished initiatives. He also credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for establishing peace in Tripura, contrasting the current stability with past security concerns for travelers to Agartala.

Saha criticized the opposition for allegedly prioritizing power struggles over public service, accusing them of aligning with past adversaries and neglecting the state’s development. He underscored Tripura’s achievements in literacy, women’s empowerment, economic growth, and recognition by NITI Aayog as a leading state.

The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s focus on transparency, welfare, and development, emphasizing the BJP’s commitment to progress. He highlighted Tripura’s advancements despite opposition skepticism, stressing the importance of continuous growth for the state’s prosperity.
