Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha highlighted his government’s focus on the welfare of the people, stating that citizens trust the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its performance and development-oriented governance. Speaking at an event in Agartala, he reiterated the commitment to inclusive development for all sections of society.
Saha expressed optimism about India becoming the world’s third-largest economy by 2030, attributing this growth to sustained reforms and strong leadership. He also mentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047, coinciding with the country’s 100 years of Independence.
Addressing the importance of national security, Saha stressed the need for a robust defence framework to ensure peaceful development. He highlighted the significance of infrastructure development, improving socio-economic conditions, and initiatives like creating Lakhpati Didis to fulfill the Prime Minister’s vision.
The Chief Minister underlined the public’s preference for the BJP and the Prime Minister due to their focus on work and development. He announced the launch of the State Innovation Mission in Tripura, supported by NITI Aayog, to promote innovation and creative thinking, with a commitment to its success.
Saha also mentioned the government’s efforts in preserving the cultural heritage of all communities, particularly focusing on tourism development. He noted the significant improvement in the state’s law and order situation, creating a conducive environment for growth. The event was attended by Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharya and Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor and MLA Dipak Majumdar.
