Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha emphasized the state’s development trajectory under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, with a focus on ensuring inclusive growth. He inaugurated three key projects in Udaipur, highlighting their role in infrastructure, environmental conservation, and economic advancement. Development initiatives totaling nearly Rs 1,300 crore are currently in progress across Tripura, aiming to propel the state towards comprehensive progress.
Saha expressed confidence in India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047, urging active citizen participation in this national aspiration. He commended the government’s swift and empathetic implementation of development schemes, emphasizing support for citizens during all circumstances. The Chief Minister underscored the Prime Minister’s vision of holistic development, particularly targeting the welfare of marginalized sections like the poor, farmers, women, and youth.
Emphasizing the government’s commitment to national security and countering conspiracies, Saha highlighted the transition to a paperless administrative system in Tripura. He celebrated the state’s achievement of full literacy status, along with winning numerous national and regional accolades. Plans for introducing the Vande Bharat Express in Tripura and upgrading key roadways demonstrate the government’s focus on enhancing connectivity and infrastructure development.
Saha announced upcoming initiatives, including the establishment of an Ayurvedic hospital and a health university in Tripura. He anticipated significant investments of around Rs 15,000 crore entering the state soon, reflecting growing economic prospects. With the expansion of national highways to 923 km, Tripura aims for balanced and inclusive development across all regions.
