Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha emphasized the BJP government’s dedication to enhancing trust and development across all regions, particularly focusing on clean water and improved civic services in Agartala. Speaking at a foundation stone-laying event for five significant projects, Saha highlighted the state government’s commitment to addressing the daily needs of its people through various schemes.
The projects include a water treatment plant, an overhead water tank, deep tubewells, water connections for families, and the expansion of drinking water pipelines. Efforts are underway to provide drinking water connections to all households under the ‘Nal Se Jal’ program, with a goal of 100% coverage. Additionally, urban development plans include the restoration of historical sites and heritage locations in the state. The event was attended by various officials, including the AMC Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Urban Development Department representatives.
