Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha introduced the ‘Yoddha’ digital platform to tackle problems like child marriage, drug abuse, and domestic violence. This citizen-centric initiative, developed by the North Tripura district administration, encourages public involvement in addressing social issues. ‘Yoddha’ empowers citizens to report incidents anonymously and access support services.
The platform aims to engage ordinary citizens in fighting social crimes and supporting victims of substance abuse. Chief Minister Saha expressed hope that the success of ‘Yoddha’ in North Tripura will lead to its adoption in other districts. He highlighted the potential of the initiative to address unreported social problems effectively across the state.
Additionally, Chief Minister Saha oversaw the 70th edition of the ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ public grievance redressal program. This program, a flagship initiative of the state government, allows residents to present their grievances directly to the Chief Minister and receive immediate solutions. The government has extended the program to the district level through virtual interactions for wider accessibility.
