Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha encouraged party workers and leaders to advance by embracing the principles and values of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and drawing motivation from the life and contributions of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. Saha emphasized the need to work for the people’s welfare by following Mukherjee’s ideals and ideology. He made these remarks while honoring Mukherjee at a tribute event held at the BJP state office.
Saha highlighted the efforts of both the Central Government and the Tripura administration, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in promoting comprehensive development and welfare based on the philosophy of Integral Humanism advocated by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. He underlined Mukherjee’s remarkable achievements, such as becoming the youngest Vice-Chancellor of Calcutta University at 33 years old.
The Chief Minister described the BJP as a close-knit family and emphasized the importance of aligning with the principles of its inspirational figures to foster a positive and constructive atmosphere. He reiterated the vision of building a New India, with every state playing a crucial role in achieving this goal. Saha also noted Tripura’s steady progress towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
Saha praised Mukherjee for his humble nature despite his esteemed background and his unwavering dedication to the welfare of ordinary citizens. He highlighted how many individuals were drawn to the BJP due to the ideologies of Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and PM Modi, leading to the party’s governance in nearly 21 states nationwide. Saha stressed the significance of discussing and promoting the developmental initiatives undertaken by the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre and the Tripura state government.
