Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha emphasized the importance of governance focusing on development and unity rather than ethnicity and communalism. Speaking at a public meeting organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Unakoti district, he criticized movements like ‘Tipraland’ for misleading tribal communities with sensitive ethnic sentiments. Saha praised the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in working for the welfare of all sections of society.

The Chief Minister welcomed new members into the BJP during the event, highlighting the government’s commitment to the development of minority languages like Kokborok. He reiterated the state’s dedication to transparency, good governance, and socio-economic progress for all, aiming to shape a new Tripura. Saha commended the trust shown by the new BJP members in the party and Prime Minister Modi’s inclusive vision.

Saha commended Prime Minister Modi for setting a corruption-free governance example in the country, emphasizing the Tripura government’s similar commitment to transparency and empowering tribal communities for inclusive growth. He underscored the significant budget allocations for the welfare of the Janajati community, emphasizing the state’s resolve to preserve their cultural heritage.
