The state’s economic advancement is evident through its nearly doubled Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) of around Rs 90,000 crore, indicating sustained growth and an improved investment climate. Tripura’s strengths in bamboo and rubber production position it well to become a significant export hub for value-added products.
Chief Minister Manik Saha shared the government’s goal of securing investment proposals worth close to Rs 1 lakh crore across key sectors during the conclave. He emphasized the importance of domestic and foreign investments in boosting employment, per capita income, and the state’s GSDP. Saha expressed confidence in the conclave’s success, building on last year’s achievements and fostering new partnerships to position Tripura as a prime investment destination in the Northeast.
Tripura’s rapid growth and investor-friendly ecosystem present abundant opportunities for private investors to leverage the state’s infrastructure and resources. The conclave witnessed a substantial response, with over 1,200 business leaders participating, reflecting the state’s appeal for investments across diverse sectors. The government’s focus on streamlining business processes and fostering a conducive environment underscores Tripura’s commitment to attracting investments and promoting economic growth.
