US President Donald Trump shared his New Year’s resolution of “peace on earth” during a gathering at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. The event, attended by numerous prominent individuals, was described as festive and theatrical, with musical performances and elaborate decorations.
Trump expressed optimism about the country’s progress, highlighting increased investment, the establishment of new factories nationwide, and surpassing growth predictions. He also emphasized the revenue generated from tariffs, military funding, and what he described as a rapid turnaround in the nation’s fortunes.
During the celebration, a live art performance took place, featuring an artist painting a portrait of Jesus while a band played a Christian worship song. The painting was later auctioned by Trump, fetching $2.75 million, with proceeds benefiting charitable causes.
Among the attendees at the event were various notable figures, including US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor, businessman Phil Ruffin, Donald Trump Jr., Rudy Giuliani, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, and others.
