AMMK General Secretary, T.T.V. Dhinakaran, has accused the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) of presenting a counterfeit support letter in the name of Mannargudi MLA Kamaraj to Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. Dhinakaran demanded a thorough investigation into this incident, suggesting that the MLA might have been coerced into endorsing TVK’s government formation bid in Tamil Nadu.
In a formal complaint to the Governor, Dhinakaran raised concerns about potential “horse-trading” and political deceit amid the state’s ongoing government formation uncertainty. He questioned the legitimacy of a video purportedly showing MLA Kamaraj endorsing TVK, emphasizing uncertainties about the video’s origin and authenticity.
Dhinakaran expressed skepticism about the video’s credibility, raising doubts about its authenticity and suggesting the possibility of it being an artificially generated video. He also criticized TVK for allegedly attempting to fabricate support through deceptive means, emphasizing the need for transparency and accountability in the political process.
The AMMK leader warned against the repercussions of a potential TVK-led government, cautioning that such a scenario could lead Tamil Nadu towards a crisis. Dhinakaran vowed to pursue answers and ensure that the issue of the alleged fake support letter is not overlooked.
